Let me share this with you..

For the first time in over a year since I have been blogging about home automation and security, I wanted to take a moment to express how thankful and appreciative I have been to all my loyal followers.

That being said, I wanted to let you know that there is an opportunity out there that many of you have yet to explore. From all the people I have spoken to and helped over the past year, I never really shared my secret publicly. Some may not be interested in thinking outside the box and for others, they have seen major success with the opportunities that are presented to them. It is this point I would like to share with you.

First and foremost, passion and desire should partially drive your motivations and actions. As an airline pilot for many years, I have always had time to dedicate my time to other things besides family and friends. As I was forced to find other means of income due to the effects of September 11, I slowly began to realize that it wasn't easy to earn a side income. When I was first exposed to the world of home based businesses, not only was I lost but it took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do and how to go about achieving my goal in the most effective way.

Rewarding at first, but a lot of work.

In the end, I had to learn the hard way and spent a lot of money trying to figure it all out. Now, many years later, I have come to realize that nothing in life is free, just as we have all been told at one time or another. In my opinion there are two key elements to being successful:

Number one, you must have a product or service that has been proven to work which is also in demand AND number two, you must be willing to dedicate time to your business and have passion for what you are doing or promoting. There are a lot of great opportunities out there that are all legitimate and very few rich quick schemes that produce long term income. You must be willing to work at it and never give up.
